Education

India still lives in villages and although education in rural India is on rise there is an increase in disapproval rate as stated in the Annual Report produced by Annual Status of Education Report (ASER). It has been found that a fifth grade student is unable to read a second grade textbook and couldn’t solve simple mathematics. Moreover, it was observed that in several states of India, attendance of students and teachers does continue to decline. Looking at this short fall in education standards in the rural India, Para Association for Rural Development, PARD, does make a determined effort in trying to build a strong bond with the rural children so as to create greater social awareness and take children to the main stream educational system and that enables to co-exist with the urbanites.
